David or as his friends call him Pickleball Dave, (PD). PD has been playing the sport for four years. PD taught Tennis at his alma mater USC (University of Southern California) in order to pay tuition. ​ PD has had many great experiences from, losing one hundred pounds over the course of four years, to being told that he has saved lives. An example, a senior woman explained to PD that she had been a shut in after her husband of fifty two years passed. When PD informed her of the class it was the beginning of her second chance at life. This experience as well as others has made PD want to make introductions to the game affordable to all. ​ PD has completed his Introductory Instructors Training Program, thru Pickleball Coaching International, which is endorsed by USA Pickleball.
